Cosmetic Bonding
Cosmetic bonding uses a natural, light transmitting composite material. It has a similar composition to fiberglass with a matrix and is filled with glass particles of varying sizes depending upon the use.Composite bonding is a direct process that does not require a lab and is placed directly by Dr. Bloom. It is used similar to porcelain veneers to close spaces, brighten discolored teeth, correct mal-alignments, replace worn enamel or repair broken or chipped teeth. Minimal or no numbing is necessary and beautiful esthetics is achieved using these natural light transmitting materials.
These materials can be used to replace the old black or silver amalgams and give a natural looking tooth.
Dr. Bloom is highly skilled in this area having taken hundreds of hours of continuing education with the most skilled dentists in the world today.
