Dental Photography
One of the most important tools that I use in my practice today is digital photography.Photography is the best way to enhance diagnostic skills, improve patient communications and education, show before and after treatment of similar problems and enhance laboratory communications with my ceramist.
Dr. Bloom uses a Fuji S-2 Pro camera with a Nikon Macro 100mm lens. The images taken are of very high quality and one can see things that were not apparent at the examination.
A picture is worth a thousand words. An old expression but true in every way. People do not have the ability to vocalize what I can do but a before and after photograph says it all.
My lab is in Athens Georgia and my ceramic artist and I communicate via photography for shade, texture, form and anything else that a photograph is useful for.
Dr. Bloom also put in a professional portrait studio to take glamour shots of patients after work is completed. This has been a great deal of fun both for me and my patients!
